Pattaya Police and a Unit of The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation were called out to deal with the aftermath of a drunken brawl on Soi Theprassit.
At the scene outside an apartment block used to accommodate workers from a local hotel they found a young man aged about 19 who had sustained stab wounds to his upper chest and was also bleeding heavily from a wound above his left eye.
There was a pool of blood in the entrance to the accommodation but apart from the one wounded guy there was no one else waiting around to be interviewed and no one saw nothing.
All the man would say was that he had been out drinking with a group of friends but could not recollect their names. The young man was given first aid on the spot but needed transport to Banglamung Hospital to receive further emergency treatment.
