A young lady Khun Nutthida aged 25 went along to Nong Kham police station to report that her motorcycle had been stolen.
The police took her statement and then wen along with her to the local apartment block where she lives on the second floor.
She had come home latethe previous evening from her job at the Nikom industrial estate in Bowin and parked her Honda MSX motorcycle downstairs. When she got up next morning to go to work at 6am the bike was gone.
Police examined footage from CCTV cameras at the premises which hadcaptured images of three suspects arriving on motorcycles. Two of them entered the car park and using hand tools they had brought with them they broke the locks and managed to get into the electric system and steal not only her bike but also a Honda Scoopy motorcycle parked nearby. It took less than 20 minutes in total to take the two bikes and drive off into the night.
With clear images of the thieves the police are hopefull that they will find the culprits. As to the bikes they have probably been broken up and sold for parts by now.
