Khun Phawat the Sherrif of Sattahip and his merry men from the drugs suppression division carried out a series of raids on entertainment venues in the area this week. Their usual targets are users and distributors of hard drugs like Yaa Baa and Yaa Ice - crystal methamphetamine. This week their focus were on the more heinous druggies who smoke Shisha you know those smelly pipe contraptions usually associated with equally smelly Arab gentlemen.
Shisha is not illegal as long as the appropriate excise taxes and licences are paid however it had been reported that children IE teenagers under 18 had been seen to be taking a quick whiff now and then.
This would not be tolerated and all the patrons of the said entertainment venues had their documents checked and then were urine tested to see if they had consumed anything a little more potent than shisha.
30 were tested positive and will be dealt with and made an example of that the operations of The Sattahip Drugs Enforcement Agency were to be treat with a suitable level of respect and should not be sniffed at.
