Drunken Night Out in Pattaya For Isaan Guy

Pattaya police turned out to provide assistance to a rather befuddled boozed up Thai man who didn't know if his money and mobile phone was coming or going or gone forever.

Khun Voravuth aged 36 from Nakhon Phanom province in the North east of Thailand had come for a short holiday to Pattaya. It was his first trip and he was disorientated as he was not exactly sure where he had been that night or even where he was right now but he did know that he should have had three thousand Baht in his pocket and that had somehow disappeared. He had tried to call the friends he was staying with to come and help him out but that was proving difficult as his mobile phone was in a bag together with his money.

He told the police that although he was from Isaan he was a man of the world having just returned from Taiwan where he had been working for many years.

He told the police that he had visited a karaoke bar with some friends and used several motorcycle taxis and probably one of the taxi drivers had robbed him but he was not too sure and not sure what day it was or what planet he was on.

The police listened patiently to him as no doubt they had been in similar predicaments before. They told him that alleging a taxi driver had robbed him was a serious accusation and it may be better that he had a little sleep and sober up a little before making a formal complaint.
