To be sure to be sure a press conference was held at Central Festival Pattaya Beach to announce details of the upcoming St Patrick's Day Festivities which will take place on St Patrick's day Monday the 17th of March.
THere were alot of Irish and non Irish dignitaries at the ceremony including Khun Ajjima Chaowalitthumrong the representative from The Father Ray Foundation and The Mayor of Pattaya City - Pattaya City Hall has made a rather large contribution to the festivities as it normally does.
The parade route will begin on Second Road at the Alcazar Theatre before marching down Beach Road to Walking Street. Then on To South Pattaya Road and ends at Pattaya School
An obligatory traffic jam is planned to occur at the same time somewhere between 3 and 5pm as the march so that stranded motorists can wave and give cheers of encouragement to the hordes of green face leprechauns and the green floats which will move as slowly as possibly to give them a good view.
