Turkish Ice Crean Guys Fight in Pattaya

Pattaya police and a unit from the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation were called on to attend an incident on Pattaya Second Road where an argument between two foreigners had ended up in bloody mayhem.

Two Turkish men who run a Turkish ice cream business had sat down to have a business discussion that soon turned into a heated argument, then turned into fisticuffs then a knife was drawn and blood was spilt.

There was certainly no Turkish delight as the police arrived as the two continued to swear at each other in a dialect that was not at all understandable to the officers and rescue personnel.

The police managed to defrost the situation a little although the pair continued to flash icy staress at each other. Mr. Cihan Cakmak aged 31, Mr. Semih Bele aged 26 were asked to freeze their argument for the moment and take a trip to the police station.

There was a time out between rounds as Mr. Bele was taken to Pattaya Memorial Hospital where he received medical attention to stab wounds to his arm and then they were asked to explain themselves and what had caused the argument.

I scream at him said Mr Bele - no I scream at him first said Mr. Cakmak

Maybe things got lost in translation or maybe things were really that complicated. The two had completely different stories.

One claiming the fight was about the fact that he wanted to end the business partnership and open a new ice cream in a different part of town and he had taken a fridge from the shop without his partners permission. The other saying no that was not the reason. He had lent his partner 50,000 Baht to sort out his visa situation.

The police couldn't make their mind up what flavour they preferred and would need some time to investigate the pair to see if either or both the Turkish ice cream salesmen would have to spend time in the cooler.
