Paper Rolls off Back of Lorry in Chonburi

Things falling off the back of lorries is a common event all over the world. I remember once buying a DVD player that had fallen off the back of a lorry back in The UK and it worked fine even if it was slightly dented.

Chonburi police and rescue units were called in after some paper fell off the back of a lorry on the Chonburi By-pass in Ban Suan District and was causing immediate danger to traffic

The paper wasn't your run of the mill paper it was three rolls of paper weighing two tonnes per roll.

The driver of the truck who's load of paper became a rolling traffic hazard was a Khun Anon aged 30. He said that he was on his way from Kanchanaburi Province to make a delivery in Rayong when a group of teenagers on 5 motorcycles overtook him and cut him off causing him to brake hard lose control and lose his paper.

A crane was called in to lift and load his paper rolls back on the truck. I am sure Khun Anon will strap his load a little more securely and drive a little more cautiously the rest of his way to Rayong.

If his customer complains about dented paper rolls he can always tell them they fell of the back of a lorry.
