Pattaya Police Colonel Supachai released a progress report with the regard to the decomposed body of a murdered young lady who was found on the rooftop of La Petite Planete restaurant opposite the Tuk.Com IT Center in South Pattaya.
The victim is beleived to be a Khun Anusara aged 19 from Buriram Province. Police are waiting for DNA tests to confirm her identity however a young lady fitting her description went missing from am apartment only doors away from where the body was found at the time the murder was committed. In addition Khun Dow aged 35, a cousin of the missing girl gave details of the circumstances that happened on the day of the murder and also positively the ankle bracelet found on the body as belonging to Khun Anusara.
Khun Dow said that on the morning of the 15th of March she was waiting along with some friends downstairs for her cousin to go on a planned trip to Koh Larn Island.
Khun Anusara was very late. Then the American boyfriend of Khun Anusara appeared from the apartment building and scurried away without talking to anyone. Khun Dow was concerned as she knew that Anusara and the American guy were having a stormy relationship and went upstairs to check on her cousin. She could not find Anusara and later reported her missing to the police. This led the police to later find the body on a rooftop a couple of doors away.
Police now believe that her boyfriend may have killed her in a jealous rage and then disposed her body by climbing over a couple of low walls and dumping her body in a black plastic garbage bag.
The police are aware of the identity of the American boyfriend but have only released a little information. He is known as a Mr. Tim aged 40-45. An alert has gone out to find Mr. Tim and immigration officials have been alerted at border points in case he tries to flee the country.
