Rescue workers in Sriracha were called to attend and give assistance to a motorcyclist who had been injured in a road accident.
At the scene they found an overturned Honda Click motorcycle and the rider who was laying in the road injured. The motorcyclist was a Khun Yutthachai aged 41 an off duty police officer he had sustained numerous injuries with cuts and bruises and was unconcious when rescuers arrived. Medics gave first aid at the scene and then transported the victim to Sriracha hospital for further emergency treatment.
Police investigating the accident think that Khun Yuthachai was riding home from the pier in Sriracha and may possibly have simply fallen asleep and crashed his bike.
