Burglar, Car Thief Arrested in South Pattaya

A burglar in the early hours of the morning stole property and cash from a house in Jomtien and then loaded the haul into a car owned by the foreign householder and made his escape.

The unlucky householder Mr. Patrick McBride aged 52 a South African National reported the burglary at his home in Palm Oasis Jomtien Village to the police who immediately put out a radio alert for the stolen car a white Toyota Vios.

Stolen from the premises were an IPad, Branded sunglasses, US and Thai Currency, with a total value of about 100,000 Baht.

The stolen vehicle was spotted later in the day near The Pattaya Bay Hotel in South Pattaya and the driver arrested for the suspected burglary. The driver Khun Supakit aged 23 from Bangkok when interrogated confessed to stealing the goods from the house and driving away the owners car.
