A meeting was held at Nongprue Municipal Offices in East Pattaya to discuss the dengue prevention and control program for the year 2557.
The progam is under the Nongprue Division of Public Health and Environment. Leading the meeting were Khun Theerawit of Nongprue Municipality and the Mayor of Nongprue Khun Mai.
The first topic of the day was to get an overview of the Dengue fever situation in the area and measures being taken to give information to the public in how to minimize risks against this dangerous health problem and also the measures and equipment that the council is using to control the spread of the disease vector the dengue fever carrying mosquito.
Khun Surapon The Director of Public Health and Environment gave a thorough briefing on Dengue fever as a guest speaker to foster a better understanding about the disease.
Several other members including Khun Anek joined in the discussions to share their concerns, experience and proposals.
