An emergency vehicle from the Tappraya 2310 Rescue Foundation was called to give assistance to a female motorcyclist who had collided with a police checkpoint on the Sukhumvit Road.
The young lady Khun Phisupha was driving her Honda Wave motorcycle back home after work when she came across the police checkpoint and unexplained loss of control crashing into some comes and a "Police Stop" sign. She fell off her bike and the medics who arrived on scene treated her for a minor knee injury.
After treatment Khun Phisupha was asked to go with police officers to the police station to explain why she only stopped at the stop sign when she hit it and fell off. Not sure if they will ask for compensation to the damaged sign and crushed cone. Not a good day for Khun Phisupha for sure.
