Pattaya Go-Go Bars Raided

It may seem unbelievable but yes some people take offence at the sight of beautiful Thai ladies gyrating around chrome poles in their birthday suits. After receiving complaints that some Go-Go Bars on Walking Street were conducting naughty shows Banglamung District officials decided it was about time to put a stop to this practise that is surely an affront to the sensibilities of the throngs of tourists who flock to Pattaya each year to ostensibly take a look at naughty shows on Walking Street.

Scores of Pattaya Police officers Banglamung District Officers and over 40 Civil Defence Volunteers of Banglamung District descended en-masse on Walking street to get a breast of the situation. Several naughty establishments were visited but their main target was The Ginza a-go-go club which was to be the focus of their attention.

Obviously their sources were correct. The girls at The Ginza a-go-go club were in dire straights. Obviously they were not being paid enough and could not afford the ridiculously high price of bikinis and were forced - yes forced to dance naked or semi-naked. Officials were horrified - one could see that by the size of their eyes that were bulging out of their sockets. ID's were checked and it was found that 4 of the dancers were at an age when at this time of night they should have been tucked up in bed - alone of course.

They then proceeded to take the piss and some of the piss they took turned purple - 14 male and female employees who had consumed drugs were promptly arrested and after being allowed to put on some clothes - it was chilly outside the escorts were escorted to Pattaya Police Station for processing.

The managers of the establishments that were raided were also asked to accompany the officers charged with various offences including licencing or non licencing infractions. The lead officer commented that a good night was had by all - apart from the staff who were lined up for processing and he put on warning other entertainment venues who operate in the district that they had better clean up their acts and actresses.

He also warned entrepreneurs of every kind of entertainment venue that the hiring of under the aged staff is illegal and if there is any type of sexual service being offered its classed as human trafficking and the venue owners will be punished fully to the extent of the law.
