Firefighters from Phan Thong district responded speedily to reports of a vehicle on fire in their area. At the scene near the u-turn at Moo2 in Phan Thong they found a Ford truck well ablaze. It took about 30 minutes to douse the flames.
The driver Khun Wanna aged 55 who was driving home with her son had a lucky escape when she smelled smoke and immediately stopped the vehicle. She got herself and her son out just in time before It almost immediately burst into flames.
