Lucifer's Nightclub Walking Street Fight and Raid

A fight in Lucifer's Nightclub on Walking Street in South Pattaya hit the headlines this week as a video of the incident was replayed repeatedly on Thai TV as well as being a popular planetary Punch and Judy show on You Tube.

Two Israeli Brothers, Mr. Eli Aurheem aged 31 and Mr. Dekel Aurheem aged 27 went to Lucifer’s Discotheque on Walking Street to take in the sights and sounds. They did not feel like buying a drink as is the norm in these establishments. Unfortunately Freelancers and Freeloaders don't mix well on Walking Street.

Eli was asked to leave by one of the bouncers. Fisticuffs ensued with other bouncers and Eli's brother Dekel joined in. Unfortunately Dekel couldn't Dek-Em and the pair were trounced by the muay Thai trained Thai toughies. The tourist police arrived and the altercationists were taken to Pattaya Police Station for a chat.

Resulting from this incident Eli was fined 500 Baht and in the red corner Khun Wittaya the bouncer who put the first points on the referee's scorecard was charged with assault.

Police Colonel Supatree, the new Acting Chief of Pattaya Police had to put a foot in the ring and ordered a raid to be carried out on this popular late night venue where expensive beers are consumed and cheap dates arranged.

In the early hours of the morning Lucifer's lights went out and the boys in brown took control examining ID's and as is the norm in Tai Entertainment venues started taking the piss.

Several foreign patrons lit up the purple lights on the urine tests and several Thai patrons and staff couldn't show their ID cards or had ID cards that showed that at their ages they should be tucked up in bed (Alone) at this time of the night.

In addition Lucifer’s Discotheque seemed to be operating with an out of day license - Whoops!!  A report of the proceedings was sent to The Governor of Chonburi who may or more likely may not issue a closure order for this well known Walking Street entertainment venue.
