3 Pickups 3 Fatalities Near Burapha Golf Course Chonburi

Sriracha police from Nong Kham police station along with rescue workers rushed to attend the scene of a serious road accident involving multiple vehicles and multiple casualties near The Burapha Golf Club.

At the scene on the Sriracha to Bowin road in Tambon Bung they found the three vehicles that had been involved in the incident. Three pick-up trucks had sustained damage - a Toyota Vigo pickup truck, a Nissan Navara pickup truck and a Chevrolet pickup.

They also found the bodies of three people who were still in their vehicles and seemed to have died in their seats at the time of the crash. Khun Withichai aged 53 and his wife Khun Ratree aged 49 were found in the cab of their Nissan Navara. Khun Suchon was dead in the cab of his Nissan Vigo. Khun Narin aged 33 the driver of the Chevrolet pick up was alive and had sustained only minor injuries.

Khun Narin told the police that the driver of the Toyota was driving too fast, entered a bend in the road too quickly losing control of his vehicle which then slammed into the Nissan and then into his own Chevrolet pickup.

Khun Narin was then transported by rescue workers to Leam Chabang hospital for further emergency treatment. The bodies of the deceased were also taken to the same hospital. Post mortems will be carried out there to determine the cause of death before they can be released to relatives for funeral rites to be carried out.
