Senior police officers from Chonburi Provincial Police Special Operations force backed up with some very smart gentlemen in very smart military uniforms announced that a special squad of gambling suppression officers had been sent to walk the sidelines at police stations across the region.
He added that this was the first team and not the reserve team and that they would definitely play offence against gamblers who play foul of the law.
They would be discussing tactics in the locker room and then dispatched onto the field of play inspecting suspected gambling establishments, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
