Good news for Pattaya there is more crime committed by Thai scum males dressed as females - also known as LadyBoys. Why good news? well it seems that more are being caught in the act and face a longer arm of the law than is the norm with the boring, repetitive and seemingly unproductive sweeps of Beach Road and Walking Street.
Latest arrest happened after a 66 year old Korean tourist Mr Kim was walking back near Soi6 on Second Road to his room nearby when a motorcycle came past him with 2 lady boys on who stopped in front of him. One of the Ladyboys stayed on the motorcycle and the other hitched up his skirt and got off to approach Mr. Kim. Usual MO offering sexual services, quick fondle and then lift the tourist's wallet or mobile phone.
Mr. Kim was not the normal mark and grabbed the thieving cross dresser, a passer by grabbed the get away guy and a scuffle broke out. A passing police patrol was conveniently on hand and the thieving scumbags were soon in handcuffs.
Mr. Naroon Sukhom, aged 27 and Mr. Sonthaya Srijanplaeng, aged 27, confessed to the attempted theft. They said that they were a part of an extensive flock of thieving scum bags who target tourists. The pair had been nicked in their cross dressing nickers only a week ago for the same type of crime and bailed. This time they will be kept in custody whilst their fate is decided by a Thai judge.
