Turkish Not Delighted by Falling Pole in East Pattaya

The foreign resident of a house in Moo 4 of Baan Ekamongkol 5  in Soi Khao Talo in East Pattaya was shocked when power pole toppled over crashing through trees and ending up perched on his house.

The guy in residence Mr Mano a Turkish national was not delighted and was not hurt in the incident, neither was the house. But there remained the damaged trees downed pole and maze of electric cables. He made a complaint at Pattaya Police Station and soon maintenance workers from the electric company were soon on scene, cut off the electric supply and set to work replacing the downed pole and electricity cables.

Neighbours in the area said that leaning poles were a common occurrence and sometimes they just fell over. Mr Mano said that he had nothing against leaning poles - he had many Polish friends but it was a bit much when they decided to land on his home un-invited.
