Pattaya Jomtien Boombox Pick-up Reveals Boys Toys

Pattaya Police have instigated extra patrols in the city called Eagle Patrols to provide a visible presence and be available as quick response units to back up existing police patrols.

One of these Eagle Patrols was flying around Jomtien when their eagle eyes or rather eagle ears were drawn to a certain Isuuzu pick-up truck. The truck was one of those annoying trucks that have numerous speakers and blast what they call music at all times of day and night.

The eagles swooped in and decided to do a stop and search. It didn't take long for them to get their claws into some juicy items. They found 23 rounds of ammunition for an M16 Assault Rifle, A bullet proof jacket, Handcuffs, a Gun holster and a Police ID pouch.

The driver of the vehicle Khun Thana aged 19 from Sakon Nakhon Province said that he had left his job as a security guard at a pub in Pattaya and had stashed his gear in the truck. As for the ammunition he had no idea if they were live rounds or not as they were just toys and he had never used them.

So the boy and his toys were taken to Pattaya Police Station ans everyone in Jomtien can sleep a little quieter tonight.
