Painter Murdered in East Pattaya

Nongprue Police and a Unit of Sawangboriboon Rescue Foundation were called to attend the scene of a possible murder in their area. They rushed to the scene - a single story house under construction in Nongmaikan Soi 17. In front of the house slumped over a table they found the body of Khun Paisitong aged 32. He appeared to have been hit over the back of his head with a large, heavy blunt object.

On the table and scattered around were whisky and soda bottles indications that a lengthy drinking session had taken place recently. The victims wallet was found nearby but was empty. His Honda Wave motorcycle was also missing.

The owner of the house Khun Saphaporn aged 48 told the police that Khun Paisitong was employed as a contractor to paint his new house. There was also a team of 4 Cambodian workers but they were missing.

It was another worker Khun Ali aged 42, who arrived for work at the house who found the body. He said that when he left the night before the victim and the Cambodian workers were drinking together. It was known that there was a dispute over unpaid wages.

The police think that this dispute resulted in an argument and the death of Khun Paisitong. They are urgently looking for the missing Cambodian workers.
