Ice Cream Motorcycle Sidecar Wreck on Sukhumvit Road Pattaya

A unit of the Tappraya 2310 Foundation were the first on the scene of a road accident on The Sukhumvit Road near to soi Khao Talo involving a car and a motorcycle sidecar combo.

The Honda Wave & sidecar which was kited out to sell ice cream was badly damaged and after the accident ended up perched in the central reserve. The man who was riding the motorcycle was laying unconscious and his female passenger had injuries to her arm and multiple abrasions on her body.

About 50 meters away was the parked Toyota Vios that had been involved in the crash along with it's driver Khun Joe aged 30. He said that he had been driving from Sattahip to Pattaya when the motorcycle sidecar pulled out in front of him and although he braked hard he couldn't avoid a collision.

The police and a unit of The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation soon arrived at the accident scene. The police took charge of the scene and collected evidence. The rescue workers gave the injured first aid before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further emergency treatment.
