He was arrested at his lavish home in Nonprue District and officers seized numerous ledgers, bank account passbooks and other incriminating evidence.
Complaints had been received for a long time that this shark was charging interest rates of up to 60% per month. Despite the high rates he had no shortage of customers who were short on their rent and were prime targets for this unscrupulous individual and his network of agents. The authorities think that he was making about 500,000 Baht a month from his illegal business.
