Pattaya City Hall was the venue for a preparatory meeting to discuss details of an upcoming handicrafts event that will be held between the 31st of July and the 4th of August.
The event will see 150 booths along Pattaya Beach Road to promote OTOP (One Tambon One Product) products to tourists and local residents.
A major feature of this years OTOP push will be Thai silk from the Northeast of Thailand. Silk and Silk Products from Roi Et and Kalasin provinces are deemed amongst the best in Thailand. There will be many booths selling these fine artisan products as well as exhibitions showing how the silk is spun and fashioned into beautiful silk cushions, silk garments, silk purses and everything else silk related.
