Englishman Allegedly Stabs Filipino Girlfriend in Sattahip

Sattahip Police were informed of a fight between a foreign couple in their area. There were indications that there was one person receiving injuries and had stab wounds. They rushed to the scene along with a Unit of The Sawang Rojjana Thammasatharn Rescue Foundation to provide assistance.

At the scene in the Navy House village they were met by an Englishman Mr. Sreven David Sapsford aged 46 and his 22 year old filipino girlfriend Miss Lot. Miss Lot had wounds to her leg. She was given first aid at the scene and then taken to to the Queen Sirikit hospital in Sattahip for further emergency treatment.

There was broken glass everywhere and blood stains on the floor. The Police questioned Mr. Sapsford. He told them that he had been drinking with his girlfriend and a friend of his. He was angry because his girlfriend and his friend were making eyes at each other. A fight ensued, he grabbed a kitchen knife, his girlfriend went to protect his friend and he said that Miss Lot crashed into a mirror cutting her leg in the process.

The police didn't think that his story was credible and arrested Mr. Sapsford taking him to Sattahip police station for further questioning. They will now also interview Miss Lot to see what her her side of the story reveals.
