Pattaya City Hall Motorcycle Taxis Meeting

Pattaya Motorcycle Taxi Drivers are coming under increasing scrutiny not just from the local police but from the army who seem to be in charge of pulling the strings at Pattaya Police Station.

A meeting was held at Pattaya City Hall attended by Khun Rankit Ekasing the deputy Mayor of Pattaya, Officers from the transportation department and of significance High ranking military officers from the 14th army division based in Chonburi. There were many topics for discussion but all topics started with the words "Pattaya Motorcycle Taxis"

Everyone was in agreement that there are just too many "Pattaya Motorcycle Taxis" that is unless you are trying to get home when the bars close and it is pouring with rain.

Representatives at the meeting were asked for their inputs and solutions to the problems of "Pattaya Motorcycle Taxis" with emphasis to be placed on being fair to all parties. The City of Pattaya, the customers and of course "Pattaya Motorcycle Taxis"

A drive to register all "Pattaya Motorcycle Taxis" was being a little slow off the ground and needed to be revved up. "Pattaya Motorcycle Taxis" had complained about the fees and that it was hard, especially with the low fares suggested by Pattaya City Hall to make a decent or indecent living. The only bright side was that there were plenty of foreigners wanting transportation that these deficits could be easily topped up.

At the end of the meeting the delegates got on their bikes and Benzes to inspect "Pattaya Motorcycle Taxis" around the city, look at the problems on the ground and elicit the thoughts and suggestions from the "Pattaya Motorcycle Taxis" themselves. Apparently some of the comments were constructive and some were just physically impossible.
