South Pattaya Drugs Raid

Police Colonel Supatee, the acting Superintendent of Pattaya Police held a press conference at Pattaya Police Station where he announced the results of a joint Police Royal Thai Navy operation that resulted in the the arrest of 5 people who are suspected of running a drug distribution business from a house in South Pattaya along with the seizure of a sizeable amount of illegal drugs.

After receiving information that a house in Moo 10 Egmongkol Village 2 Housing Estate in South Pattaya a team of Pattaya Police and Royal Thai Navy personnel raided the premises where a number of suspects were detained. Khun Sagon aged 39, Khun Galayagon aged 42, Khun Bemigar aged 25, Khun Panasanan aged 27 and a 17 year old were taken to Pattaya Police Station for interrogation. 

1.6kg of Marijuana and 35g of the class 1 drug Yaa Ice (Crystal Methamphetamine) and other bags of suspected drugs that are yet to be tested were seized. As seems to be the norm in the drugs trade nowadays home made firearms and ammunition were also found and confiscated.

These types of drugs raids focusing on drug distributors are becoming more prevalent lately as the powers to be Police and Military increase their operations to get the dealers of these evil substances and the evil substances themselves off the streets and out of the hands of local teenagers.
