Sattahip Drugs Suppression Agents along with a military security detail took part in a sting operation to snare a known drug dealer.
The agents took up position near a motorcycle repair shop in Moo 8 of Nongprue District in East Pattaya. One of the agents went in undercover and made a drugs buy with 2,400 Bah in marked notes.
Once the deal had been completed other agents came in to effect the arrest of Khun Wichit aged 23 and Khun Namchai aged 24. They were charged with illegal possession and distribution of a Class 1 narcotic Yaa Baa (Methamphetamine)
Khun Namchai said that he had turned to selling drugs to pay for milk for his new born baby - I wonder if he had visited a 7/11 lately baby milk is not that expensive.
