Khun Mai The District Chief Officer of Nongprue District in East Pattaya held a meeting in the 5th floor meeting room at Nongprue District Offices to discuss training in handicrafts for the community. Volunteer groups from Chonburi and Banglamung joined in at the meeting.
Handicraft training sessions particularly in the production of artificial flowers, silk flowers and perfume handicrafts were suggested as a good way to stimulate part time income in the community especially for low income families. Participants at the meeting shared their knowledge and experience on the subject. The results being that Nongprue is hoping to become a more prosperous and more pleasant smelling area.
