Thief Robs Laem Chabang Buddhist Temple

A former ordained monk is being sought after an early morning theft in a temple in Laem Chabang.

After going out of the temple to do their early morning walk to collect alms in the local districts. the thief took the opportunity to enter rooms at the virtually un-occupied temple and stole cash, vestments and sacred Buddhist amulets with a value of over 20,000 Baht.

One of the monks had heard someone earlier that morning before the alms walk around 4 am and gave the police a detailed description and name of the temple thief who was once an ordained monk at the same temple.

Whoever this thief is and whether he is caught or not he has certainly attained several lifetimes of bad luck for stealing from a Buddhist temple.
