Police Leutenant Wisit of the Nong Kham police station was called to the scene of a fatal road accident in Moo 5, Tambon Nong Kham, Sriracha near the Borwin Temple Research Centre.
At the scene he found the body of A Khun Phanapha aged 34 who had suffered major traumatic injuries and her wrecked Honda motorcycle laying in the road about 20 meters away. Also at the scene was a damaged and blood stained Isuzu pick-up truck and it's driver Khun Julserm aged 36
Witnesses to the accident said that they had seen the Isuzu pick-up driving up to the motorcycle from the rear and crashing in to the bike. Apparently the driver had tried to flee the scene but was detained by witnesses to wait for the police to arrive as it appears that he was drunk.
The body of Khun Phanapha was transported to hospital by a rescue foundation vehicle for a full forensic autopsy to be carried out.
