Choburi Police were called by a rescue foundation unit to investigate a fatal road accident in Tambon Nongkree of Muang District Choburi.
At the scene in front of The Pata Petrochemical Co., Ltd. a large traffic jam had been caused whilst rescuers gathered together the body of a Khun Ekasit aged 37 who had sustained massive catastrophic injuries after falling off his motorcycle and under the wheels of an 18 wheel truck.
Witnesses to the accident said that they saw the motorcycle approaching the scene at high speed when a dog ran out into the road. The rider braked and tried to avoid the animal. He lost control and fell off the machine and under the wheels of the lorry.
The body of Khun Ekasit was transported to hospital for a full forensic post mortem to be carried out.
