Emergency services, police and fire trucks were dispatched to a fire that had engulfed a restaurant in South Pattaya.
At the scene a four story shop house in Soi Yen Sabai, South Pattaya they found the restaurant bar area on the ground floor engulfed in flames and smoke billowing out from the building.
Fire brigade workers aimed their water hoses into the restaurant and after about 10 minutes were able to bring the blaze under control.
The restaurant was not open when the fire started. It appears that the fire had started in near a sofa in the shop and luckily no one in the building or any of the responding fire fighters were injured in the incident.
