An International Symposium was held at The Dusit Thani Resort Pattaya entitled "Banking and Business Value Reconstruction to Support Competitiveness" The conference was jointly organised by academics from Ramkhamhaeng University in collaboration with renowned universities from Indonesia.
Special guest speaker at the conference was Dr. Nat Vutipong Assistant Governor of the Bank of Thailand who gave a talk on the role of Government in the banking sphere. Attending the conference were teachers, researchers and students from both Thai academia and from foreign academic and commercial financial institutions.
It is good to see that Pattaya is attracting more prestigious conferences like this. I am sure that after a hard day in the conference room discussing international financial matters the attendees were able to spend an evening distributing some of this international money having a few beers in Walking Street.
