Banglamung Sheriff Khun Sakchai Teangho along with senior district officials, police officers and police volunteers held a press conference to announce the results of a recent raid on a local Pattaya entertainment venue.
Locals had complained about the noise coming from the venue which was operating as a daytime haunt for noisy nitwits looking to get their fix of loud music and illicit drugs.
On parade was Khun Jittapong aged 22 who had been found with class i narcotics (Yaa Ice) in his possession as well as an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
Khun Jayant the manager of the place on Soi 21 , Pattaya 3rd Road was detained for operating an entertainment venue outside of normal licensing hours and in fact operating without any licenses at all.
11 guests of the establishment are now being held as guests of Banglamung police after failing urine tests on site and are awaiting the results of further tests to see if their day out on the town will end up in a few more days in the monkey house.
