After receiving a tip off from some concerned local residents in Na Jomtien Sattahip Drug Enforcement agents moved in to make the arrest of the suspects at a village in Na Jomtien.
They had a description of the two suspects who were believed to be construction workers of Burmese nationality. In the early hours of the morning their stake out paid off when at around 5am the pair arrived at the workers camp on their motorcycle.
They stopped and searched the two Burmese guys Mr. Jan aged 25 and Mr. Mew and found 10 Yaa Baa (Methamphetamine tablets) in their possession and another 9 tablets hidden in the motorcycle. The pair were arrested and the drugs and the motorcycle seized as evidence.
