Burglaries at Jomtien Nivet Village South Pattaya

Pattaya Police Lieutenant Sombat was called in to investigate a series of burglaries at Jomtien Nivet Village in South Pattaya.

The scene of the burglaries was a large luxury House called Colour Villa at Jomtien Nivet Village which is located on the left on the road from South Pattaya to Jomtien The Villa has been converted into separate apartments. Three apartments had been broken into.Rooms 103, 104, and 105 all on the second floor.

Room number 105 was the residence of a Khun Chakri aged 25  who returned home and found the door to his apartment had been forced-open. The room was in disarray and the wardrobes ransacked. Missing from the room was a 30,000 Baht laptop computer.

Mr Amir Ashouri a 50 year old Iranian national returned to his room number 104 to find the same state of affairs in his room. The thief had gone through every drawer and cupboard. He lost 1,000USD and a Samsung mobile phone worth around 15,000 Baht.

It is not known what is missing from room 103 as the owner had not returned at the time the police were doing their investigations.

The police interviewed Khun Banjong aged 33 who manages the apartments who revealed that this was not the first time break-ins had occurred at the complex. She had seen strangers hanging around but they had run off before she had a chance to question them.

Police have some leads including CCTV images and a number of fingerprints lifted from the front doors and the insides of the apartments believed to belong to the perpetrator.
