At last a significant crime suppression operation on Pattaya Beach Road that netted real criminals rather than the usual regular sweep of undesirables where a motley crew of ladies and fake ladies are taken to the police station and given a 100 Baht fine and a stern talking to.
The target for this operation by plain clothes Pattaya drug suppression agents was an organized group of ganja gangsters.
Four drug dealers were dealt with. Three of them motorcycle taxi drivers who were peddling their happy backy to any tourists daft enough to risk a jail term and or significant fine.
The four marijuana merchents were: Khun Gitinan aged 18 who had 7.5g of a class 5 drug concealed on his person, Khun Mondree aged 43 who was caught with 8.5g of Marijuana and Khun Suwan aged 51 who was caught with 18g of the class 5 drug and last but not least the big loser tonight Khun Thaksin aged 31, who was found in possession of 30g of Marijuana.
The four face significant drugs possession and trafficking charges and will be detained pending an appearance at Pattaya Provincial Court very soon.
