Million Baht Robbery at Pattaya Hardware Store

The owner of a Pattaya hardware story had to go to Sattahip on business and left the store in the capable hands of his two sons, or so he thought. Things went well in the morning and the sons were kept busy with a constant stream of customers on that busy Friday morning.

However there day was not going to turn out well. Khun Gitipong aged 27 one of the sons discovered that while they were hard at it downstairs in the hardware shop thieves were hard at it upstairs on the third floor stealing property worth an estimated 2 million Baht. Missing was 900,000 Baht in cash and a Jade and Diamond Ring worth in excess of 1 Million Baht however some gold jewelry had been left untouched. A Thai thief whgo does not like gold jewelry mmmm suspicious.

Police were called in to investigate The Chorsantee Hardware Shop at the entrance to Soi Lengkee off Pattaya Third Road and found a broken glass window on a sliding door on the third floor.

There had been a contractor in the building that day who was looking to give an estimate but he has so far been ruled out as a possible suspect.

It was a shame that the CCTV cameras in the store had stopped functioning on that day and the police could find no exit or entrance route for the mysterious thieves apart from through the main entrance to the store. The sons face some careful questioning from the Thai detectives and boy wait till their father gets home.
