Chonburi Police were called in to investigate the stabbing death of two people in Klongtamru District in Chonburi.
At the scene an apartment complex for workers at Louis Adhesive Tape Co., Ltd the police found the bodies of Mr. Suphawat aged 20 from Mahasarakham Province and and Ms Chuthima aged 25 from Sakeaw Province. Both had suffered fatal stab wounds and a large blood stained knife was found close to the bodies.
Mr. Suphawat and Ms Chuthima were co-workers and had been in a relationship for over a year. It appears that Suphawat was not happy when the 29 year old brother of his girlfriend moved to live in a room close by a couple of months ago and had been continually fighting over this situation.
The police at this stage think that Mr. Suphawat stabbed his girlfriend to death whilst in a rage and then used the knife to kill himself. The police will know more when a full forensic post mortem is carried out.
