Cambodian Worker Bloody Body Found in East Pattaya

Nongprue police officers were called to investigate what could possibly be a murder in Pong District of East Pattaya. A farm worker had stumbled upon what is thought to be the body of a Cambodian man aged about 40 laying in a pool of blood in long long grass off the beaten track. At the scene the police could see blood from the victim and some evidence that a struggle had occurred which probably resulted in the death of the man.

There is a construction project underway nearby with a camp for the mainly Cambodian workers. The police are concentrating their enquiries at the camp. Meanwhile the body of the man was removed and transported by a rescue foundation vehicle to Banglamung Hospital for a full forensic post mortem to be carried out.
