Khun Rankit Ekasing The Deputy Mayor of Pattaya along with representatives from The Northeast Association of Pattaya City held a meeting to announce the next traffic jam sorry cultural event that will snarl up traffic around the city for a few hours.
THe Isaan Festival will be held on the 7-9th of March and more than a thousand participants will be marching in a parade wearing straw hats and leading buffaloes. The parade with accompanying Isaan musicians will dance it's way Pattaya Beach Road to assemble at the show ground on Pattaya Third Road.
The Isaan Festival held this year for the first time in Pattaya aims to promote Isaan food, Isaan traditions, Isaan culture Isaan arts and Isaan folk music.
As well as traffic jams snarling up the city no doubt most entertainment venues in Pattaya will be bereft of beautiful bar beauties who will be down at the Isaan Festival feeling well at home scoffing sticky rice, smelly fish pastes and various deep fried foods that have six legs.
