Thailand Ecotourism Projects in Leam Chabang, Chonburi

The tourist scene in the region is always changing. First it was The Americans wandering alonf for a little R&R from the Vietnam War. Then The Brits arrived, The Germans and lately with a strong Aussie Dollar the colonists from down under came to find good tucker. Let's not forget our dear friends from the former Soviet Union. I'd rather forget them.

The next flavour of the month Eco's yes Pattaya andother resorts in the aea are looking to attract thousands of Eco's who will come and spend their eco dollors on eco freindly, sustainable tourism and green projects where global warming means getting your shirts of on the beach.

One of the latest of these sustainable eco green tourist projects was unveiled this week. The Port of Artificial Reef Project "Lighthouse Fish Port Complex's" stage 3 at Khao Laem Chabang.

This eco-friendly project to provide artificial reefs for non artificial natural eco friendly fish habitats for the sustainable development of eco systems and sustainable dollars from eco-tourism.

Of course local fishermen will not be allowed to mingle with these hoped for fish huggers after all they don't want to end up with too many chinks in their nets.
