Pattaya School number 7 played host to a sports day held annually to showcase the athletic prowess of the school kids in Pattaya. 11 schools were represented and competed for titles in the quickest, longest, highest categories.
The Mayor of Pattaya Khun Itthipon presided over the opening ceremony and was accompanied by Khun Wattana The Deputy Mayor of Pattaya and a host of Pattaya City Council leaders and district officials.
A parade of Lion dancers and dancers who were not lions paraded in front of the very distinguished guests, distinguished guests and not so distinguished guests.
Races were run, events were evented and the winners, runner up runners and anyone who managed to limp across the line were awarded medals and then Khun Itthipol did his Mayoral thing and showed that he was a good sport by handing over trophies to the best sporting schools of Pattaya.
