Loan Sharks Beached in East Pattaya

Another shark was washed up in Pattaya this week. However don't go looking on Pattaya beack. This one was left stranded after a fishing expedition in Soi Khao Noi East Pattaya.

Khun Yongyuth aged 31The honcho white loan shark and two of his sharklings Khun Sutthirak 27 and Khun Mr Khanti aged 20 were reeled in and are now in their own designer shark tank at Nongprue police station.

The shark hunting operation began when one of the gangs customers Khun Anonymous turned up at Nongprue police station complaining that he had been threatened by the loan shark that he had borrowed money from and because he was a couple of days late with his re-payments he had received a Kray style visitation.

The debtor soon became the bait and he was off to a meeting with the two sharklings soon turned up at the debtors home in Soi Khao Talo looking macho in their full faced black motorcycle helmets. They threatened Khun Anonymous. Waiting police officers swimming in the vicinity dressed as mackerel splashed on the pair of sharklings and left them high and dry in the back of a police Pick-up

Evidence was seized including 2 motorbikes, 20,000 THB, business cards, over 10,000 pieces of loan advertising offering cheap loans, accounting books that contained customers’ names, loan contracts and 3 mobile phones.

Khun Yongyuth was next on the list. However before the police could get their rods and reels sorted out Khun Yongyuth beached himself. He calmly walked into the police station to have a snout to snout chat with the arresting officers. He offered them 20,000 Baht for the officers to throw his sharklings back in the sea.

The officers thanked him, declined the officers and added bribery to the long list of charges he and his enforcers face.
