British Man in Pattaya Dies in Drug Fueled Frenzy in Central Pattaya Condo

Police and a unit of The Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation were called to attend a condo in Central Pattaya after reports that a fight betweem a Thai lady and her farang boyfriend had ended in a disastrously for the farang.

At the scene a 6 storey Condo building called Spanish Place just off the Sukhumvit Road they entered the condo to find the farang a Brit Mr. Jason William Flannery aged 25 laying naked in the middle of the room covered in lacerations and laying in a pool of blood. The room was in complete disarray with broken glass and belongings scattered all over the floor. There were also many items of drug paraphernalia around including hypodermic syringes.

Khun Janjira aged 23, told the Police that she had returned from work and found Mr. Flannery with his friend and his girlfriend having an argument. They left soon and Mr. Flannery started arguing with her and then became violent. She had split up with him about a year ago and knew that he could fly into drug fuelled rages. It appears that this day he had been injecting cocaine and smoking marijuana laced cigarettes.

She had left to call the police when it appears that in a drug laced frenzy he had crashed into a a sliding glass door and fell to the floor.

It is not sure if he died from the glass wounds he sustained or from a drugs overdose. His body was sent to hospital for a full forensic post mortem to be carried out. Meanwhile as is the norm The British Embassy in Bangkok has been notified about the death of one of it's nationals.
