Norwegian Pattaya Chiropracter Arrested in Jomtien

Farangs in Pattaya had better start watching their backs or in the case of a Norwegian guy in Jomtien he should stop watching other people's backs.

Thai Immigration Officers had got the nod from some backstabber that a foreigner was conducting a health business called “Back in Motion” Clinic, located on the Second Floor of a shop-house on the Thepprasit Road near to the entrance of Soi 10

A foreign undercover operative who may or may not have been given a back hander was dispatched to purchase back relief services at the clinic. As soon as money was handed over the immigration officers rushed in through the front door and the back door.

The chiropractor Mr. Vincens Steen aged 37 from Norway was told to d place his hands behind his back and then given a free ride in the back of a pick-up to Chonburi Immigration Office in Soi 6 Jomtien.

There were a various number of charges levied against Mr. Steen including running an illegal business. acting as a medical professional without approved Thai medical qualifications. Having intravenous drugs and other health concoctions on the premises. Working without a work permit. Talking with a funny Scandinavian accent and offering massage services without a guarantee of a happy ending.

As to the visa charges Mr. Steen said that he was living in Thailand on a legally obtained Ed-Visa to study Thai language and culture. He also said that he had obtained extensive training in Sweden as a Chiropractor and indeed used his professional expertise to a well-known Thai Premier League Football Team.
