Senior Sattahip District Officials including Khun Phawat the district chief announced the results of a drugs suppression operation that netted some key drug dealers and the seizure of class 1 narcotics.
The district officials accompanied by Royal Thai Navy security forces raided a house in Soi Boonsampan Pattaya and arrested a Khun Narachai a aged 31 a Thai-Kuwait national, his brothr Khun Udon aged 36 and Khun Sakorn aged 34. The authorities Seized in the raid 160 Yaa Baa (methamphetamine tablets) and 15 gm of Yaa Ice.
The raid was prompted when one of the suspects was caught selling drugs to an undercover officer in exchange for 1,500 Baht in marked banknotes.
The suspects confessed to selling and using drugs and said that they had been doing this for years selling mainly to tourists in Pattaya and also that the drugs were bought from a prisoner at present residing in Nong Plalai prison.
