6 Lobster Pot Restaurant Pattaya Kitchen Fire

Pattaya Police and Rescue workers rushed to The Lobster Pot Restaurant on Walking Street after an offer came in of a free meal. Sadly not, the reports were that there was a fire in the kitchen of the popular seafood restaurant and that one of the workers had sustained injuries.

The emergency services had great difficulty fighting their way down walking Street and through the throng of gawping folks outside the restaurant. The fire was contained in the kitchen area and it didn't take long for the experts to douse the flames in a ventilation hood.

Medics turned their attention to a man laying injured on the kitchen floor. Khun Neung aged 40 a cook at the restaurant had noticed the fire in the vent above the cooker and decided to climb on top of the gas stove to take a look. He had not suffered burns but instead had briken his left leg when he fell off the stove onto the tiled floor below.

Khun Neung said Khoob Khun Crab to his rescuers and was placed on a stretcher and high tailed to hospital for an x-ray on his suspected broken leg, the faulty motor in the ventilation vent was soon fixed and service for the diners was soon resumed with apparently no charge for the show.

There is nothing in the rumour that Khun Lodsukon aged 47 who first saw the flames was fried from her job. The owners of the Lobster Pot seafood restaurant have kindly agreed to shell out for the medical expenses of Khun Nueng.
