Sattahip Motorcycle Pedestrian Accident

A volunteer rescue Unit in Sattahip was called to the scene of a motorcycle accident near the market in Sattahip after reports of injured persons requiring assistance. At the scene near the Talad Nak they found an overturned Honda Wave motorcycle. The rider and pillion rider were laying injured close by.

The rider Khun Wirote aged 21 and his 6 months pregnant girlfriend were given first aid at the scene and then taken to The Queen Sirikit Hospital in Sattahip for further emergency treatment. The motorcycle had collided with a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the road. He had sustained major head injuries and he was also transported to hospital.

Eyewitness said that they had seen the man aged about 40 come out of a drug store and appeared to be drunk and stepped into the road without seeing the motorcycle coming.
